Karli landed in Portland Oregon after attending college for art & design in Utah. She grew up honing her design skills with many hours spent on Microsoft Paint creating posters to advertise her many magic shows. Although her magic skills were less than stellar, her design skills got better and better.

Despite her early signs of interest, Karli didn’t know what a graphic designer or illustrator was until college when she took an InDesign class because “it sounded cool.” Well—it was cool, and since her dreams of being a fortune teller weren’t working out, she decided to get a degree in graphic design. While Karli is grateful to the computer for making her job easier, she really loves to get her hands dirty, and often in her case, covered in paint. Her job title is muralist, designer and illustrator; but what she really is are billions of cells just trying to have a good time.
